An artist’s studio is a creative space where he or she can freely create art. Here is a picture of one of Morris Graves’ art studios where he spent most of his time painting and occasionally sculpting. Even though Morris Graves traveled to many other countries and was greatly influenced by the beauty of their cultures, since he loved the landscape, the climate, and the chance to live so close to nature, he continued to live and work in Western Washington for much of his life. He moved to Northern California in 1965 and lived in relative seclusion there for the next 35 years, until his death in 2001.
